Reminder: Jefferson-Jackson Dinner this Saturday in Lanesville!
Wanted to add an extra reminder about the J-J Dinner this Saturday!
Please join us for our annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner this year on August 16 at Lanesville High School. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and dinner will be served at 6:30 PM. Our special guest and keynote speaker will be Glenda Ritz, the State Supt. of Public Instruction. It is also a chance to talk to many of our fine local candidates running this year. Tickets will be $25.00 per person. While we will have a limited amount of tickets at the door, in order to have Amy Valentine know how much food to prepare, we ask that you please reserve your tickets by calling Jim Kincaid at (812) 736-2460 or Barbara Kincaid at (812) 364-6938. If we aren't able to answer, please leave a message so that we can get back with you about your tickets.
Please share this will all your friends so we can have a big turnout. Glenda has been fighting Republican attacks on teachers and public education, so if you have any friends that are current or retired teachers, or their friends, families, or students, please let them know.

Donnie Hussung Fundraiser and Meet and Greet a Big Success
From Donnie Hussung's facebook page:
Don't forget to visit Donnie's facebook page and like and share it with your friends. This race is really important. Donnie's opponent is a fierce Tea Party partisan that has led the County Council in fiscal mismanagement that has required larger and larger bailouts every year, and has not properly represented District 2. Donnie will look at each issue with fresh eyes and make decisions that will benefit the residents of Franklin and Jackson Townships, and not spend his time on the council pushing a partisan, out of touch agenda.
Here are a couple of pictures from Donnie greeting people.
Nice event last night. I want to thank everyone who came out and visited. I especially want to thank the group of supporters "you know who you are" that planned, shopped for, and prepared food for the event and all who have helped with contributions in any way. Looking forward to having a BIG group of helpers, family and friends to promote the campaign in upcoming events... Thanks to all and I hope to have and do appreciate your continued support.... on to November...
